The present arrangement weirdly suited her. She tried not to do as much as Emma, less being more in her opinion, but still tried to keep up with Betsy. She wanted Scott to pursue her, pay her compliments, romance her—and what better way to show him it was worth his while than to display what he’d be getting?
She got the same as Scott’s other women, but also a smug sense of superiority that she didn’t have to throw herself at him like they did.
And going naked really wasn’t such a big deal; not in the X-Men. She’d gone from religiously wearing panties, back when a minidress had been her costume, to not daring to have a pair on when her panty lines would show through her costume as regularly as Wolverine’s claws made an appearance.
“I still can’t get over how beautiful you are,” Scott said.
“Oh? You don’t think I should wear some little nothing of an outfit like Betsy or Emma—do all the hard imagining for you? But make you work like hell for that last little thong…”
