Thinking of changing how billing works

Because it seems like every other month, someone doesn't set a limit and they're charged for every post and I have to refund, and it's a bit of a hassle. And I don't know if the old motivation of 'pay every time a chapter is posted' still holds true. I think most people just let themselves be charged once for the month and that's it, their limit is one dollar, so going to a monthly charge instead of charge by the paid post would just be honest.

I get it, the economy, there are plenty of places where you could read stuff for free, not complaining.

I would maybe do something where the one dollar tier gets only some subset of fics and the three dollar tier has full access, and then the tiers above that get you your own short story. Which would keep me in bagels without raising prices on fic rewards, since I'm comfy with where those are. Maybe everything posted before the fifteenth is just a dollar and everything after that is the whole three dollars. So you'd still get a lot for your buck, but three dollars would get you something every day of the month.

But nothing is nonnegotiable, I like the sound of this plan, but if you have something to say, by all means, the comment section is open.
