(at least the first 3 seasons are absolutely beautiful) - Scissor seven (Chinese anime) (it starts like a goofy show but once the story is revealed... well, you'll see) - Attack on titan (Must watch) - Demon slayer - Jujutsu kaisen - Vinland Saga (the manga is really good, but maybe start with the anime) - Blue eye samurai (US animation, really good, it is on netflix) - Kaiju No. 8 - Cyberpunk Edgerunners - Zom 100: Bucket List of the Dead (I found it really funny and well written) Manhwa/Manga: - Solo leveling (also has anime 1 season) - Vagabond - Vinland Saga

2024-08-01 18:06:11 +0000 UTCIf graphic novels count for manga I would say All Star Superman and Daredevil born again, both are 10-12 issues long the first one exploring the question what would Superman do if he found out he was dying it’s beautifully written and was inspired by /a tribute to the author’s father passing away and it’s going to be used as one of the blueprints for the new Superman movie. And daredevil tackles how can a man make himself anew, be born again, after hitting his lowest point. If it’s just manga I second the person that said Sakamoto Days I only read 4 chapters and it’s fire. Akira or Vagabound would be cool too

2024-08-01 17:56:03 +0000 UTCI don’t really know a lot of anime outside the popular mainstream ones so I’ll say I’d love for Jay to watch Succesion or Daredevil because Succesion is a pretty funny Shakespearean dark comedy about a family of big buisness homelanding corporate 🐀s that has so many twists and turns of constantly one uping each other and stabbing each other in the back honestly just a family of the rattest rats that’s you’ve ever seen in fiction. Seriously just Rat Central Station, Museum of Natural Ratistory, that makes it amazing. And second we have a show about Catholic man that has to make hard decisions to keep people safe but also deal with the moral problems of those decisions while maintaining his religion and learning to love and forgive himself, so those are my two shows I think Jay would enjoy if he hasn’t seen them already. Monster and Haikyuu would be pretty good if Jay hasn’t already read or watched them, I just started Monster myself and Haikyuu has always been one of my favorite sports anime Also I guess Rent a Girlfriend might be funny because of how cringe it is I had to stop watching after season 1 but Jay could have some pretty funny reactions to it. And I saw X-men 97 and Gen V were already mentioned on the Patreon tiers so I didn’t bother adding those

2024-08-01 17:33:29 +0000 UTCYooo Blue Lock hype LET'S GOOOO! That being said, "Mob Psycho 100" is definetly a vibe! There's only 3 seasons on Crunchyroll or Netflix that cover the entire manga. And if you also looking for TV Shows recommendations, you should absolutely give "The Bear" a chance.
