2024-12-31 11:01:02 +0000 UTCThis episode was showing how the watermelon’s ideology separated, they were two groups, one that idolize the watermelon baby that sacrificed himself for Steven on the very first watermelon episode, and the other group idolize the watermelon Steven that Steven took over to fight Malachite on season three premiere. It’s a message about sacrifice versus fighting, which are both inherently wrong with the real message of the show but that goes farther down the line. It’s a set up for the finale theme wise.
