By dark past I meant I expected a βI hate my parents and they donβt like meβ or something sinister. I like drama and tragicness π. But youβre right her bullying did play a role with how she is. I Always forget about that

Some notes/thoughts/facts:
- We get on with Fluttershy!
- Fluttershy has gone quite some way...
- I understand why you dislike the message in the Breezies episode so much. However, the message wasn't that kindness or being nice is a problem. It's more about being kind by speaking the truth, without being insulting. Sometimes, it will still hurt, but it might also be in your best interest. Additionally, you can't expect kindness if you don't behave well or if you take advantage of someone else's kindness. That said, the message could have been clearer.
- Yes, as Fluttershy learns to be more assertive, she has initially trouble to gauge it well sometimes, but she improved a lot. Her insecurities are still there, but she definitely improved on them and is able to control it to a degree to not let it run wild in certain situations.
- The staremaster Episode with her stare was a great reminder that even Fluttershy is able to come through if she needs to protect someone like the CMC.
- Hurricane Fluttershy was another peak episode.
- She is indeed willing to listen to everyone without prejudging like she did with Discord
- The Pilot was a good episode to draw people in, that's the main reason why MLP got a chance to be so popular π
- Who would have guessed that Discord's difficult personality would one day be tamed by Fluttershy from the very beginning? No one else was able to do that.
- Sometimes, confidence is a delicate thing, and we all need reassurance from others to trust ourselves.
- It was obvious that it was a facade, as we all know how well she handles animals... and didn't saw Starlight with the book...
- It's great how this episode highlights Fluttershy's many impressive feats, which aren't always obvious, as they tend to be in the finer details of things.
- I never understood the criticisms claiming she didn't improve β especially since she clearly did. I often feel that those who believe she remained the same don't truly understand what social anxiety and being an introvert entail, nor how challenging it is to overcome such hurdles and that even the tiniest steps forwards are a great success.
- A sometimes anxious bundle of a sweetheart that always knows to be kind and assertive if needed - I find this to be a great description π
- However, you are partly mistaken about her not having a dark past. There are two episodes that touch on Fluttershy being bullied at school, which contributed to her introverted and anxious nature. In 'Hurricane Fluttershy,' she was bullied at flight school, and in 'The Cutie Mark Chronicles,' she was teased by two ponies, prompting Rainbow Dash to race them in her defense. While it might not be extremely dark, it still reflects an unpleasant past.
