Poll results

Hello everyone!

I wanted to write about the voting we had June 27th to July 2nd about what kind of interests people had for new content or features. I’ve been meaning to write about the vote results for quite a while now, but I’ve been way too busy with the next build ^^’

The amount of votes (Over 700, with couple of hundred people voting) was overwhelming! I had expected something like 50-60 votes maybe… and I don’t mean overwhelming as a negative thing! Oh no, it was awesome x3 I’ve sorted voting results and combined both public and Patron votes to one chart, with Patron votes having 3x multiplier (I think it’s only fair, you guys and gals directly support the creation of Hunt and Snare). 

This was our first voting and I probably should have a) made less options, b) made more defined option descriptions, and that would have been easier for you to vote on it, but I’m not used to running votes! I promise next time will be less confusing, more refined, and more exciting x) 

The idea with the voting is to refine our content creation and version building plans, not directly drop and kill some features. Everything will be added, eventually, to Hunt and Snare ^^ Also, I try to think of all the features as one big web where every single feature affects another feature. E.g. Skins or locations might not feel very exciting alone, but when tied to full acts and conversations, they get a lot more impressive. Similarly to Accessories and clothing being fairly tame as a sole idea, but combined with player customization and more customization options it is pure <3


I’m not too surprised about the results. It’s something I expected to see, of course, those are the same things I want to see x) Of course, Full sex acts comes first by a quite large margin, followed by player customization, love liquids, and more customization options in general ^^

I’ll go step by step through the vote results and explain how it’s going to influence our version planning!

So, as I mentioned earlier, we’ll add player customization in the next build (mid/late next week!) along with ability to save customizations so you won’t have to redo them every time you start the game up ^^

Also, I’m curious about what kind of things you’d like to see as posts? I want to write and update you guys and gals more often with what we’re working on, but I’m not sure what kind of things are interesting and what isn’t ^^

I'm not sure yet what would be optimal for allowing directly backwards movement. When the gunplay is added in, you can basically hold right mouse button to aim and then your movement is camera relative, but I'm not sure how it would work without actual gun. I guess it would be doable ^^ I want to keep all the movement modes (walking, sneaking, walking with gun, sneaking with gun) as consistent between each other as possible As for the capturing; Yeah, that idea is that eventually the capturing mechanism will work so that you either stun them using a gun or capture by hand, and then you have to carry them back to the ship where they get placed in the ship's cargo, if you want to capture them that is. Not sure about escaping prey yet, it could a be fun feature though! ^^ Lures are also on the to-do list. The general idea I had with lures was that there's two ways to use it: Throw nearby, and the prey will go to the lure and interact with it. And Place, where you place the lure on the ground with some luring perfume or what not, and when you go into hiding, there's a chance for a prey to spawn, based on rarity of the lure and location of the lure ^^ The next build will come tomorrow latest. It takes some time to make a build (4.5 hours) and there's always something small that I want fixed after making the build and I have to rebuild it x) Added your suggestions to idea board on our Trello ^^ <a href="https://trello.com/b/whud7kIk/huntnsnare" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">https://trello.com/b/whud7kIk/huntnsnare</a> (Edit: I accidentally commented on the post and not your comment! Going back to the movement issue that I mentioned earlier, have you thought using the arrow keys or even the mouse? The mouse would be the better option of the three (the current one using the WASD keys, the arrow keys, and the mouse) as it would allow us to turn around. But that's just me. Another suggestion that I should make is that it's a bit of an annoyance when you capture more than one prey. I caught three or four NPCs, and that's when I noticed that only one follows you. It might be useful to either have the captured prey return to the ship by themselves, have them tied up (and gagged!) so they can't escape (actually that might be a good idea! Unless you take them back to the ship right away or tie them up, there's a chance the captured prey escapes!), or set up the map to pinpoint where your captured prey is, so you don't forget where they are. Some other things I might suggest are lures and take downs. You can lure prey to you and then capture them by popping out of the bushes/grass and collaring them. Of course, there should be other forms of take downs. I do like the fact that we'll be getting character customization in the next build. When is the next one coming again?

Mutations? Maybe, maybe. Works well in Corruption of Champions ^^ It's such an advanced feature though, that I don't want to promise anything regarding it ^^

I am too late D= I wanted to suggest for the poll a "gender shift". Maybe even as an "transmittable disease" =D You "played" with the wrong girl... congratulations... you just grew two brestesses. o_0 Maybe even more than two... depending on your species... &gt;_&gt;

Super awesome to see a breakdown of the results - I love the fact that you keep us informed on the direction of the game ^^ A bit saddened that conversations and quests were so low down, but I should have expected that :p

Silly Rufflenecks...why would we need sex toys if males already carry them around 24/7 between their legs and woman can get their share every time?^^ I'm happy about the vote results (well ok futa can go to hell imo :D) and can hardly wait for the next update. &lt;3
