Huge (tho very quiet) progress!

Just smashed the halfway point on storyboarding (or thumb-nailing?) the Bad Space graphic novel. At nearly 100 pages, it looks like we’re aiming for a final book at about 200 pages.

I plan to finish the storyboarding this month, and then begin drawing the pages shortly after.

I’m still finishing up my day job, though on reduced hours, which means that the time I’m spending on Bad Space has already begun ramping up considerably.

At the moment there is a bit of an ongoing hiatus, while I get the thumb-nailing done, sweat through some rewrites, as well as working with the publisher on some book issues, AND figure out a workable balance between my short stories and this graphic novel.

The point is, bear with me! A lot of work is happening behind the scenes as I prepare to make Bad Space full time, and this is soon going to pay off in more comic goodness for you.

And honestly, I’m feeling really good about where the graphic novel is heading. Hard science, big ideas and a driving story. It’s everything Bad Space is meant to be - except bigger, longer and more in depth. I think you’re going to love it.
