Mystwood Manor v0.8.1b

Hey guys,

This month’s update is a bit smaller than usual, as I have been making the required preparations for the launch on Steam. If everything goes according to plan, I’ll do an early access release next month and the final release probably July or August (depending on how development goes the next few months).

FYI: As before with MotH, everyone that is a Patron at the time of the release on Steam (that has supported at least the sale price during the development of
MwM) will be eligible for a free Steam key.

For this update I added some new staff scenes and guest events, and finally updated the menu screen.

These coming months I will start filling in the blanks as well as finish the staff and guest scenes and the main story.

Download v0.8.1b (hotfixed for story mode): here

Note: Existing saves can be copied over by moving the profiles folder from the previous version to this one. All the best, Faerin

Hi Alex, sorry about that. I have updated the link and it should work fine again now.

Hi Faerin, it looks like bitly ended up blocking your download link. will there be a new link for the newest version of mystwood manor soon?

Hey Patrick! Sorry I missed your message. No, I'm not really interested in taking my games in that direction. I have been following the developments as well, and while I think they are interesting from a personal point of view, I don't think it's the right fit for my games/audience. While they can be add value to a game, they can distract it as well, especially with how volatile the market is at the moment (in my opinion).

Been awhile Faerin. Hope you are doing well. Any chance of you bridging your game into something with a crypto token? NFT mints and a token offering [with NFT stake/emissions after sales] could be a major boon for your platform. I know patreon provides for you in some ways but as a crypto enthusiast watching all these goofy NFT groups pop up, I'd say your art is very viable for such an action!
