TL;DR: Billing cycles!! First of the month or By the time you pledge?

Hey peeps! So Patreon is starting to bother creators to change the billing cycle stuff from "1st of the month" to "by the time they join"

Ever since they added this """option""", any new account would default to 'by the time they join', and whoever changed the option would be locked onto it

I personally never changed my option, as having it charged on the first of the month was very convenient for many different reasons, things feel a little different as the time passed though

Of course, if i change the option now, whoever is supporting will keep being charged on the first of the month as usual, but i still wanna ask you guys opinion as Supporters, not only as my supporters, but in general

Do you, as supporters, prefer to be charged on the first of the month, or when you start your pledge?

I understand the downside of the chance of being charged twice too soon, but since i'm kinda used to it as a supporter, i prefer to ask outside opinion now

I'm considering changing the option, but i need to double check since it's a big commitment, as i can't change back

I kinda dont care about the whole 'can't be supported through the iphone app' cuz who cares about that, you shouldn't be using the patreon app
