What's this? More bookish artwork? Yes pls!
I've gotten a lot of requests to draw Aelin/Claena from the Throne of Glass series and I now that I am finally in the middle of reading the series I decided it was time! I actually read the first two books of this series years ago, but then kind of fell off on book 3. After so many recommendations, I decided to give it another go. I'll admit, that I, once again, had a bit of a struggle getting through book 3, BUT I found book 4 to be great and now I'm starting book 5!
I hear that I'm in for quite the adventure.
Anyhoo, for those of you not familiar with her, she is a deadly assassin. Of course there is more and more revealed about her as the series goes on, BUT for this piece I most wanted to depict her early in the series (book 1 and 2 ish) with the ancient sword, Damaris.
Anyhoo, whether you have read the series or not, I hope you enjoy the artwork of a badass lady with a sword. I always do! haha.
