🎬Speedpaint//Dragon Priestess

Here is the time-lapse speedpaint for Patrons🖌️ with music for: Dragon Priestess

I had so much fun with this piece, I mean I ALWAYS have fun drawing girls with swords! haha! This piece came at a time when I was feeling really down and so decided to just start drawing live on twitch and see what came out.

This isn't the first time that I've drawn an armored girl with a sword when I am personally feeling down and defeated. There might be some sort of symbolism in that armor that I always return to when feeling that way. Like, as I paint armor on a character, I'm trying to armor myself up internally so that I can pick myself up and keep going.

Anyhoo! I hope you like the piece and enjoy this process video!

Right! I went looking for it and was distressed that I couldn't find it anywhere.

I love that water color marker set. It disappeared from the asset store recently and its a real shame because I swear half the tutorials that are for watercolor in CSP use them. I still have my set thankfully but I am aparanoid about loosing them

If it is the part of the process I think you are talking about, I used a messy triangle watercolor brush. I originally downloaded it for free from the CSP asset store, but I just went looking for it and can't find it anymore. So I attached three of those triangle watercolor brushes to this post for you to download and try out.

Which pencil do you use for the background texture? I mean the chalky once on the "first" background? Love this piece so much!
