Lilith isn't always who I first think of when I imagine mythological goddesses, but after a number of people requested her over the years, I decided to do some digging and learn more about her. And oh my! What a fascinating story she has that I had never heard about!
Here is a quick and rough summary as I understand it from my limited research!
In Jewish folklore, Lilith is often depicted as the first wife of Adam, created equally from the same earth. However, refusing to submit to Adam, she was banished from the garden of Eden. Over time her story has evolved in various mythologies, portraying her as a goddess, a seductress, and a mother of demons.
Anyhoo, I am putting together our 2026 calendars and Lilith is going to make an appearnance in our first ever MYSTIC SPICE calendar! Stay tuuuuuned! ;D

Lilith is practically the first feminist. Telling God she wouldn’t be subservient to Adam since they were created simultaneously. Then we get Eve and we all know how that went. I love the image, the colors give it a mysterious and dangerous vibe.
