Eldritch Darling Tarot Prints - The Fool and the High Priestess

Working on something new for NYCC when I’m there in a few weeks, so, TAROT PRINTS!!! I love tarot and the symbolism of it all, my brain loves working with archetypes so this and astrology scratch my brain really well for storytelling purposes.

CJ as The Fool (in love) fits her so well, someone willing to leap before looking, a little dumb but sooo much heart. Shoutout to my friend Isa for helping me with the pose and ideas for this one I love how it turned out!

Ina as the High Priestess is someone keeping secrets, someone who sees beyond the veil (or in her case, is something from beyond that veil). I had trouble with this card as first but as soon as I made her veil into a blanket and made it a cozy internet drama reading fort it all clicked.

This was all I had time for, for now, but I’m also working on Lucy as the Magician and Shay as The Chariot! Those two still need some tweaks and CJ and Ina were the most solid sketches so I decided to start with them.
