Hello everyone! Today, I want to share with you a very rare short comic that I created back in 2002—"OPEN THE DOOR."

Why do I say this is a rare piece? As I remember, this comic has never been officially published. If it was, it only appeared in a weekly magazine and has since vanished.

"OPEN THE DOOR" is a comic without any dialogue. At that time, I was particularly interested in dialogue-free comics, as I found them to have a unique atmosphere. I wanted to take on the challenge of creating one myself. With 33 pages to tell a story without words, it was certainly a bit difficult, but it was also a fun experience.

What I remember the most is that during the creation process, I accidentally deleted 10 pages of completed work! With no backups, I was nearly in tears. Losing those 10 pages from a 30-page comic made me consider giving up entirely. Just thinking about redoing those pages felt incredibly daunting.

However, a friend later said to me, "Instead of thinking of it as redrawing, think of it as creating something fresh and new. You'll find it much more enjoyable." With that mindset, I created those 10 pages again, and I ended up drawing them even better than before.

I’ve kept my friend’s words in mind ever since.

"OPEN THE DOOR" is a story about desire and greed. While it's a serious topic, it’s also a lighthearted piece. I hope you enjoy it!

大家好，今次我想與大家分享一篇極為罕見的短篇漫畫——2002年製作的《OPEN THE DOOR》。

為什麼說這是一篇罕見的作品呢？在我記憶中，這篇漫畫從未正式發表過，即使有，也是僅在一本周刊雜誌刊登過，然後便沒再出現了。

《OPEN THE DOOR》是一篇沒有對白的漫畫。那時候，我對無對白的漫畫特別感興趣，覺得它有種獨特的氣氛，我想挑戰一下。33頁的故事不以對話來呈現，確實有一定難度，但也是一次很有趣的體驗。但讓我印象最深刻的是，在創作過程中，我不小心把已完成的10頁稿件徹底刪除了！沒有任何備份，當時我幾乎崩潰了！30頁中失去了10頁，我甚至考慮放棄這個漫畫。想到要重新畫那10頁，就感到非常痛苦。

不過，後來一位朋友對我說了這番話：「不要把這看作重畫，當作新的作品去創作，會更有趣呢。」於是，我懷著這個心態再次完成了那10頁，而且畫得甚至比之前還要好。

我一直銘記著這位朋友的話。

《OPEN THE DOOR》是一個關於慾望和貪念的故事，雖然話題有些嚴肅，但這也算是一篇輕鬆的作品，希望大家會喜歡！
