June 2024 Update

i'm currently reading through communion by whitley strieber, a nonfiction account of the authors experience with what he believes may have been extraterrestrials. the christopher walken film adaptation is absolutely wild if you haven't seen that by the way.
been watching a few lesser-remembered disney films. re-watched the utena movie, the twin peaks movie- still have to re-watch end of evangelion, along with a whole bunch of other things on my research to-do list.
what kind of project could require all these seemingly unrelated research tangents? you'll have to wait and find out..
another one of these research tangents has been action cartoons, particularly of the mid-2000s (but some earlier and later ones as well). you know, teen titans, ben 10, that kind of thing. this month, how about some of the stuff ive drawn in that category? you may notice ive shared some art of these characters on twitter and patreon previously. but now, here's some more!
i always feel hesitant to share things like this. i think things will be more impactful if you see them for the first time in the work itself. but hopefully im still withholding enough surprises that the final product wont be too predictable.
