hope everyones having a horrifying halloween season.

 do you feel the impending terror of something creeping ever closer? That's the final episode of crow cillers, slowly approaching day by day.

 ive considered putting out some preview panels, or throwing together a trailer or something. but i decided to just let you all discover the whole thing at once when it comes out. it's not much longer now anyway!

speaking of really long illustrated narrative works- it only took nearly 100 hours of reading over several years, but i finally finished higurashi when they cry this month. well, i finished the main chapters anyway, i still have to read rei, which i understand is kind of a bonus thing?

anyway, it was beautiful and i drew some of the characters. i was going to do more but then i didnt

i turned another drawing ive shared previously into a character. this time, its her-

  ive been doing almost exclusively digital art in recent years. my current process is really tied to it, and doesnt exactly translate to paper. this month, i decided i should get some paper and pencils and refresh myself on doing things acoustically. still re-adjusting, and constantly instinctively trying to hit "undo" on a sketchbook, but its neat to reconnect with the way i made comics starting when i was like, 4, all the way through high school.

these are obviously digital, but i drew them before getting ahold of a sketchbook. i was trying to practice drawing the proboscis and wyrm characters fast and sloppy. you may notice an increase in copy and paste in the comic as well- thats intentional. still watching old williams street shows, and thinking about the creativity you get from restrictions like that... drawing this dumb comic fast, plastering text on recycled art, etc. always had a fascination with that stuff. im pretty sure i talked about all this last month, so lets just move on to more drawings now 

anyway, you remember those my little pony comics i used to do? i was thinking about those, and i think some of those are the funniest comic work ive ever done, and theyre just lost in the ocean of twitter.

ive been considering making proboscis and wyrm part of a larger anthology thing, a place i can finally post those old horse comics, that ffff. revival i did a while ago, and whatever else i think of. im considering calling this webcomic "webcomic", because i think that kind of thing is funny.
