It is on this holy day of Mensis, we are honored to present you with the third build of Slaves of Rome (V0.3)! A massive version, featuring more content, more options, skills, positions and games!
This is the "normal" ($15 version) Roman's build. It has most of the features now unlocked, but, you start with just 360 dinari (gold) so... you'll need to work your way up!
Citizens, bare in mind!: Rome is still in development! There will be bugs! We are working very hard to have as little as possible, but at the end of the day, this is still a game in development, so it's nearly impossible to completely avoid them. We are always happy to hear about any problems you encounter so we can fix them ASAP for future builds. Please let us know if you find any. The optimization is still not perfect so lower spec PCs might still have a hard time to run the game – use the 'setting menu' to lower graphics if you need. We are still working hard to improve it as much as we can, as fast as we can.
Main New Things This (V0.3) Build Features:
- Slaves skill tree – A whole new level to level up your slaves and make each one with unique special skills and abilities.
- Marketplace! (NPC) – You can finally sell/buy your slaves – make profit and buy new slaves, depending on slave level, skills etc'.
- New slave! – Olivia is a new (expensive) slave, with new dialogue and story-line! You are going to have much fun with her ;)
- New positions and skills – Many new sex positions and skills you can explore!
- Custom slave – Finally fully operational and working (sorry for the delay!)
- Crash bug fixed – For those few who had the bug of the game crashing when launching – it is fixed now.
Coming to Next Build (V0.4):
- Temple of the Gods Upgrade! (Even more customization, like skin tone etc')
- More Slaves – A special shipment is coming from the east.. with more dialogues and story lines
- A LOT of New Skills – We are going to focus on adding a LOT of new content, making the skill tree huge and with tons of new positions, instruments, skills and many surprises ;)
- Better Optimization (will run on even lower spec PCs)
We are growing fast, and we expect to have those upgrades within about a month. An official date will follow.
Please notice:
* Those of you who have the "Avast" anti-virus might get a warning or even a crash upon entry to Rome. Ignore it. Just wait a few moments and it will let you in.
** This version has a lot of new content and is slightly harder on the PC. The setting menu should still allow the game to run on much lower spec PCs than before, but – it is still not perfect and will get better. Sorry for this, this will be fixed by the next build!

yeah, it's something we are going to improve - it takes a bit of guessing/getting used to at the moment.. but it works.. let me know if you have more trouble with it and I'll try to help - basically, it's just getting the right rythm of it...

2018-12-09 20:25:05 +0000 UTCThank you! I can’t seem to max out the pain bar before the endurance run out. Sometimes when the whip hits, the pain level in the bar does not increase - is it intentional or am I doing something wrong?

Skill points are unlocked by training the slaves - we are working on a lot more options, but for now - you'll need to get the whip from the other merchant and punish the slaves - after you have successfully done that, you'll get a skill point to spend.

2018-11-19 12:24:34 +0000 UTCYou can lvl up your slaves by punish them with the whip. You need to complete it 100%. So when you are half way there and you get the option to stop, continue whipping, and after that your slave gain 1 skill point.

So sorry guy :( - we really work hard to make those versions as bug-less as possible, and we tested this version like a million times but still somehow managed to miss that one.. even though it's a pretty big one to miss. We'll start fixing it tomorrow and will upload a fixed version this week :(

2018-11-17 23:52:14 +0000 UTCJust tried the same thing. No matter the estimated value when you go to sell them they are always set at 300 and their skills are back to default so its not possible to make a profit.

2018-11-17 22:33:07 +0000 UTCThat hasn't happened. I leveled up Julia to be worth approximately $1700, with half the skill tree filled out. I go to sell her and then I find out that the "Julia" in the sell screen at the market has no skills, no other stats and is only worth $300. When I sell that one, my $1700 Julia inside disappears as well, so I made no profit and spent time levelling her for nothing.

2018-11-17 22:20:21 +0000 UTCThe first slaves you buy can only be sold for 300 denarii. Is that a display bug and I'll actually get the approximate worth value or are they all only worth 300? EDIT: Turns out that both Febian and Olivia that can be sold in the market are versions with no stats or skills upgraded, so they're only worth 300. But when you sell them, the ones inside the dungeon disappear with all their skills etc. despite their very high value. Any chance of a bugfix on this?
