"Ara? Could this little boy be no ordinary person? He actually sensed my presence," Kuroka purred playfully. "Shirone, is he the mate you've chosen? Your taste isn't very good, nya. How could a human male possibly produce strong offspring with our kind?"

Kuroka casually flipped her long, flowing black hair over her shoulder. Her fair neck and smooth posture exuded a dangerously seductive charm.

"Just... schoolwork," Koneko said quietly, her gaze drifting up to the roof beam. She was surprised, she hadn’t sensed her sister at all. But Shoyo-senpai had? He really wasn't an ordinary person.

"Well, I don’t care about Shirone’s taste in men. Onee-sama is just here to take Shirone away, nya~"

"No. I won’t go with you, Onee-sama."

Kuroka hadn’t even finished speaking before Koneko responded firmly. She now lived for Buchou, she had found her reason to fight, to protect Buchou and herself.

"Onee-sama already knew that, nya. That’s why... Onee-sama didn’t come here to ask permission, nya." Following her Nekoshou instincts, even in her human form, Kuroka licked her hand lazily. She was just informing Koneko. And once informed? She would take her away directly.

After this incident that happened in japan, the eyes of the entire supernatural world would be drawn here. Staying would mean risking becoming cannon fodder in a war between gods and pathonens. She didn’t know, that the root cause of all this... was the seemingly ordinary boy standing nearby.

Thanks to his avatar [Krishna], his calculation abilities were off the charts. And with Heaven-bestowed Omniscience, a divine trait of Krishna, the stronger Shoyo became, the more he neared omniscience and omnipotence.

Just then, Shoyo’s gaze sharpened.

The user could instantly learn and use the magic themselves, even if it was canceled mid-activation. Skilled users could counterattack after seeing a spell once, or even modify and create new magic techniques on the spot!

For now, it was more practical than even some of his Avatars.

After just a glance, Shoyo had already mastered the workings of Kuroka’s spells. He could now use them... or dismantle them.

Kuroka’s gaze met Shoyo’s, and then shifted. Realizing he had plucked her tail and ear fur without her noticing, her expression changed drastically.

"Looks like I misjudged you, nya~ To be able to tease me like that without me noticing... what kind of powerful existence are you, handsome little brother? Are you interested in working with Onee-sama for the future of the Nekoshou clan, nya~?" Her voice turned silky with charm.

"No! You can’t!"

Before Shoyo could answer, Koneko burst out, her voice sharp. A second later, a visible blush spread across her face.

"If you're going to say that," Shoyo sighed, "maybe erase the newly formed magic circle on your hand first."

He caught it immediately. She was clearly wary of an unknown person suddenly appearing beside her sister, and was ready to silence him. Still... thanks to her, he had learned another kind of magic.

Kuroka withdrew the magic circle without a word.

"The little handsome brother Shirone found really is interesting, nya~ But can he truly protect you forever? Why not come with Onee-sama? My partners are very interested in you. And you’d be under the protection of one of the Heavenly Dragons, you know~?"

"This handsome little brother might be strong," she continued, "but being strong and protecting others are two different things, nya. Onee-sama could easily take you away right now, nya~"
