Chapter 25: The Queen’s Defeat

Under the light of Kurma, Sona slowly woke up.
"This is…?"
She felt better than ever. Not only had all the injuries she sustained vanished, but the demonic power within her now flowed with unnatural smoothness. Although Shoyo couldn’t yet wield the power representing infinity, the healing aspect tied to eternal life was more than enough. Not all the abilities of the avatars Shoyo had acquired were fully awakened; some were still hidden, waiting to be discovered. Among them, the authority similar to the Infinite Dragon God, one that symbolized infinite power, had yet to be activated.
But… now that he could sense its existence, he believed activating it was only a matter of time.
Cough cough, "In any case, I can be considered the winner, right?" Shoyo smiled slightly. Akeno, after unleashing her Super Lightning Strike, had barely 30% of her demonic power left. Tsubaki had also expended over half of hers. Most of their demonic energy had been used to construct magic circles, but they were all directly dispelled by Shoyo, effectively wasted.
“Yeah… we lost.” Akeno sighed, her voice tinged with resignation. She glanced at Shoyo and couldn’t help but feel a sting of defeat. Shoyo-kun… couldn’t you have at least tried to dodge a little?
“There’s no need to continue. We surrender,” said Tsubaki. Her tone was calm but earnest, she was genuinely convinced of Shoyo’s strength. Unlike Akeno, she hadn’t panicked earlier because she knew what Shoyo was capable of. He would never endanger himself recklessly. Their magic was simply ineffective against him.
The reason?
At that moment, Shoyo had fully unleashed the power of [Buddha] upon himself. Buddha, the enlightened one who had undergone countless ascetic trials and attainments, offered immense resistance, not just to magical attacks, but also to physical and mental assaults.
“Thank you for the match,” Shoyo said, gently picking up Sona and walking toward Rias. There was no further need for conflict. His goal had been simple: complete the sign-in, and maybe test his current strength.
Even if he hadn’t defended himself, according to his calculations, the worst-case scenario would’ve left him paralyzed, but not dead. And with the authority of Kurma the World Turtle, such injuries could be rapidly healed. Now, with the surrender of both Queens, his sign-in was officially complete.

“Oh? Not bad… not bad.” In the blink of an eye, Shoyo had completed the evolution of his Copying Eye. If it had previously been an ordinary Copying Eye, it was now on the level of the Formula Solver’s twin eye. All abilities had been enhanced, and there was no longer a risk of rampancy or losing control.
“And now, the Godslayer authority… Not bad either. Although I usually prefer spells, I don’t mind close combat.” This particular authority could be seen as both a berserk buff for the user and a restriction for enemies.
---
[Authority: Sacred Derangement – Divine Confusion]
Usurped from the wine god Dionysus by Doni.
Creates a field where magic, curse power, and even authorities run wild and become uncontrollable.
The effect is strong enough to push even Toni’s own authorities into a berserk state.
Though seemingly impractical, its tactical usage can turn it into a deadly trump card.
This authority forces opponents into direct melee combat, Doni’s specialty.
It requires long preparation for full activation but can be used in small-scale bursts with minimal prep.
Note: The user may enter and exit the berserk state freely while maintaining consciousness.

Shoyo, pleased with his new gains, returned to the Occult Research Club. The others were still visibly shaken, not yet fully recovered from the match.
"Shoyo-kun… the bloodline in your body… what exactly is it?" Rias finally voiced the question burning in everyone’s mind. His strength, taking Akeno’s Super Lightning Strike head-on, was something no normal hero descendant could possibly achieve.
"Hmm… I think it’s okay to tell Rias," Shoyo said, deciding to keep his real identity secret. A fabricated one was necessary. "What I inherited should be the power of the hero Rama. Rama from the epic Ramayana."
“The weapon I used to fight Kiba’s demonic sword was the Blade of Salvation. And when I repelled Kuroka earlier, I used divine weapons bestowed by gods and Buddhas, all linked to that blade.”
Of course, he hadn't even tapped into most of them yet.
The Blade of Salvation was not a standard Noble Phantasm, it was a compilation of all divine weapons ever granted by gods and sages. It had been bestowed to Rama by the Brahmin sage Vishvamitra, back when the sage still held the status of a Kshatriya. These weapons were engraved as divine statues on the blade. When Rama summoned them, golden gates unfolded around him, launching divine armaments with devastating force, power that surpassed even Gilgamesh’s Gate of Babylon.
Indra’s Vajra, Vishnu’s Chakra, Shiva’s Trishul, Brahma’s Brahmastra, Yama’s Pasha, Kartikeya’s Vel, and many more, Shoyo didn’t even know how many were sealed within yet. Each weapon carried a curse that broke through immortality. Unless Rama himself was defeated, the wounds they inflicted would never heal. Even his radiant aerial mount, Vimana, was stored there. Some had claimed it was Gilgamesh’s Vimana. That was nonsense, it was clearly Rama’s!
However, even summoning the Blade of Salvation meant activating the full power of the [Rama] avatar.
"I think I understand now… why Shoyo-kun is so powerful," Himejima Akeno said, her tone laced with awe. The hero Rama wasn’t just a hero, he was a fragment of the Trimurti god Vishnu. Compared to him, so-called modern Hero's were mere playthings.
Just look at his exploits:
He killed the Rakshasa Tataka, whose strength equaled a thousand elephants, with a single arrow.
He used Manavastra to shoot Maricha across 100 yojanas.
He deployed Agneyastra to obliterate the Rakshasa Subahu.
He used Vayuvastra to annihilate an entire demon army.
He casually snapped Shiva’s divine bow.
He wielded Vishnu’s bow and frightened Parashurama into retreat.
His arrows reached the end of the universe.
His volleys darkened the sky, blotting out the sun.
In the Campione world, the so-called “Last King” was a parallel version of Rama.
Even the most powerful Campione were fragile children compared to Rama, the overpowered GM character in every sense.
“I think I know why my sword felt so brittle...” Kiba Yuuto muttered with a bitter smile.
