Chapter 35
Added 2025-05-13 11:35:43 +0000 UTCShoyo suddenly remembered something,
He hadn’t had the chance to fully unleash his power even once.
"I presume, Shoyo-kun, that you've obtained the power of one of the avatars that descended that day?" Ajuka asked, noticing Shoyo’s hesitation.
"Hmm… yes."
Seeing Shoyo’s straightforward admission, Ajuka continued,
"Shoyo-kun, you possess the power of [Rama], don't you? But… this isn’t the Rama of this world, it’s one from another world."
That’s right!
The power of [Rama] from another world!
When Shoyo had mentioned awakening the bloodline of a hero, Ajuka had felt something was off. After returning and carefully researching and investigating, he confirmed the truth. The power within Shoyo wasn’t native to this world, it was extradimensional.
Because in the world of High School DxD, let alone Rama, even Vishnu himself didn’t possess such terrifying power.
"Something like that, I guess," Shoyo nodded.
He already knew Ajuka had seen it through part of his identity.
No matter what being tried to probe his body, the result would always show: ordinary humans. Even Ophis was the same.
If she hadn’t witnessed Shoyo absorb the avatar with her own eyes, she would never have believed that this seemingly average boy held such overwhelming power.
Ajuka too had scanned him and received the same result. But the strength Shoyo displayed? It was anything but ordinary.
That could only mean one thing,
Shoyo wielded a power that even Ajuka couldn't detect.
And what kind of power could Ajuka Beelzebub, one of the top beings in the world, not detect?
Only something from another dimension entirely.
"Shoyo-kun, you don’t have to worry about my intentions," Ajuka reassured him. "After all, we’re teacher and student. Until you’re fully grown, the Underworld will be your greatest protection."
"But… once I gain true strength, I’ll have to protect the Underworld in return, right? I understand that much."
Shoyo gave a soft smile.
It was an equal, even friendly, relationship, almost like a deal between comrades.
"I’m glad you understand. The data I’m collecting from you today will help you grow even faster. Without a thorough understanding, I can’t formulate an effective training plan."
Ajuka was honestly impressed.
Before coming here, he had reviewed Shoyo’s learning progress, and if he couldn’t gather data today, he knew he’d fall behind in training such a prodigy.
"Alright, let’s get going then," Shoyo said with a sigh.
He had already anticipated that Ajuka might uncover something.
That’s why he had altered the system to fabricate a false strength profile, No matter who probed him, they'd only see the numbers he allowed them to see.
Since no one could perceive his true strength, they could only believe what their scans showed: an “ordinary” human with “unusual” growth.
"Okay, let’s go."
Ajuka activated a transfer circle beneath their feet. A soft green glow lit up the floor before it surged upward,
Transfer magic: activate!
And with that, both vanished from the human world.

Dimensional Testing Zone – Ajuka’s Personal Space
"This is your testing ground. Due to limited time, I could only create this much of a separate space," Ajuka said.
They were standing inside a pocket dimension within the Dimensional Gap, a zone specially created by Ajuka just for this.
"Alright, let’s begin then," Shoyo said confidently.
The automatic operating system he had built was no joke.
Even if someone killed him, the system could counter-kill the attacker instantly.
Within his system was a contingency plan:
Detect hostile intent → Activate Final Power → Instantly unleash the highest-level attack, even at the cost of his own life. The avatar used would depend on the nature of the enemy.
This mechanism was a failsafe, if Shoyo were ambushed and killed in an instant, he’d still take his enemy with him. It might never be used in this lifetime, but Shoyo preferred to prepare for every possibility.
After all, even with his current strength, there were still a few beings in this world who could kill him instantly.
"Test start! First item, Strength!" Ajuka announced.
"Teacher, even if you’re sincere toward me, I still can’t reveal my full power~"
Shoyo sighed inwardly.
He had already made the settings, he would only use the Rama avatar's power for this test.
BOOM!
Shoyo’s fist smashed into the testing machine Ajuka had set up.
“Strength test result: High-Class Devil – High Tier.”
Ajuka’s lips twitched.
He clearly remembered Shoyo saying his base strength had only reached Middle-Class Devil level.
And yet…
If I didn’t know you had no reason to lie to me, Ajuka thought, I’d never believe you were just a Middle-Class Devil!
"Speed test… High-Class Devil – Peak."
"Reaction speed… High-Class Devil – High Tier."
"Now, Sacred Gear measurement…"
This was the part even Ajuka found hard to evaluate.
"Shoyo-kun, regarding your [Blessing Divine Armaments] treasury… how many divine weapons are stored inside?"
Ajuka took a deep breath.
If what Shoyo said was true, then this otherworldly [Rama] didn’t just possess divine weapons,
He had access to the weapons of all gods and Buddhas.
Ajuka didn’t even consider the possibility that Shoyo might have ten avatars.
That idea was too insane.
Even one avatar like [Rama] was staggering. And what if others like him existed?
Perhaps others had also received phantoms but had yet to awaken them, or had awakened but remained hidden.
Still, even without finding anyone else, having Shoyo alone was enough for the Underworld.
If other factions discovered more hosts, the Underworld would still have a powerful counter. According to his deduction, the being that descended was likely Vishnu from a higher realm.
Other pantheons might have reached the same conclusion. But among Vishnu’s ten avatars, Rama was one of the most powerful.
And this Rama… was not the same as the one from this world.
"I’m not too sure what exactly is inside," Shoyo replied honestly. "Right now, I can only bring out low-level weapons. If I want to draw high-tier ones, I’ll need to get stronger first."
Indeed,
If one of those high-tier divine weapons had struck someone like Kuroka, it wouldn’t have caused just minor injuries and knockback, it would’ve been fatal.
"Alright, let’s proceed with the test," Ajuka said, chuckling dryly to himself.
Some people… or rather, some monsters, just couldn’t be compared.
Back in his day, Ajuka had led his generation in both talent and strength. But no matter how much of a genius he was, as a Middle-Class Devil he could only fight other Middle-Class Devils.
Shoyo, on the other hand?
Not only did he possess superior learning abilities, but he also had a system full of bugged, game-breaking abilities.
Was he even trying to let others survive in this world?
