Chapter 33

Diamond-level sign-ins, two had been triggered so far: the Maou girl and the Red Dragon Emperor & White Dragon Emperor. Although neither could be completed in the short term, Shoyo was determined, and confident, that he would finish them both. He understood just how valuable King-level sign-ins were. Just one avatar of the origin Vishnu had already raised his potential close to single-digit ranking, and even surpassing that wasn’t out of the question!
In the Little Garden, Vishnu was so overpowered that he wasn’t even set as one of the Ten Crowned Avatars. Having multiple avatars simultaneously, Shoyo’s theoretical potential had already exceeded the limit of the two-digit ranks. Even though Diamond-level sign-ins were a tier below King-level, they still offered tremendous boosts.
To complete this particular sign-in, Shoyo couldn't let Issei die just yet. If he did, it would be difficult to find the next Red Dragon Emperor host within a year, let alone train them to a level capable of fighting Vali. Especially if the new host was male. After all, not everyone swung that way. And if it was a female... would Shoyo send his female disciple to Vali?
Impossible.
To avoid unnecessary complications, Shoyo made the decision to forcibly keep the Red Dragon Emperor within Issei Hyoudou’s body.
“Don’t worry. How could I let you stay in a dead man’s body?”
Materialize, God Piece!
A golden chess piece shimmered into existence in Shoyo’s palm.
“You wish to reincarnate him?” Ddraig asked cautiously. At that moment, a spark of hope flickered in his heart. This person, who seemed to have a good relationship with his useless host, might actually give them a fighting chance. With this guy’s help, maybe defeating the White One wasn’t out of reach?
“That’s right.”
Shoyo casually dropped the golden chess piece onto Issei Hyoudou’s chest and began activating the reincarnation magic. The piece, naturally, was a Pawn, likely the most appropriate one for Issei, his surname was Hyoudou, after all. Normally, reincarnating the Red Dragon Emperor would require eight Pawn Evil Pieces, but the God Piece? Only one was enough.
While the reincarnation ritual began, Shoyo reached out through a nearby magic circle, no authority used, just proximity, to contact Amano Yuuma.
“Yuuma, can you hear me?”
“Master? What is it?”
“I’ve got a task for you. Capture Mittelt, your former Fallen Angel comrade.”
Mittelt, a l*li-type Fallen Angel, had just killed Issei Hyoudou. Knowing that Amano Yuuma couldn’t move freely, she likely came to investigate herself, and ended up killing Issei on the spot.
“I’ll definitely complete Master’s task!~”
“Hmm, I’ll leave it to you,” Shoyo nodded.
After sending Amano Yuuma on her mission, Shoyo sat down on a nearby chair. Once he gave the God Piece, Issei’s life signs had returned. Now, the reincarnation and evolution were underway.
“But seriously, that l*li Fallen Angel’s pretty ruthless. Just killing him and leaving his corpse there? I wonder if Issei’s parents downstairs are going to lose their minds when they see this…”
“Sigh, at least clean up the mess and tamper with their memories~”
Minutes passed.
The reincarnation completed.
Unlike standard Evil Pieces, the God Piece had a powerful binding effect on the familiar. If the master wished, they could enforce absolute command, similar to Command Seals from certain worlds, and exert full control.
“Looks like he’ll need some time to wake up. But I don’t have time to wait here.”
“Hey~~ Ddraig, can you hear me?” Shoyo called again.
The Red Dragon Emperor Ddraig, scared witless earlier, had remained silent inside Issei Hyoudou’s body.
“Unknown God… what are your orders?” Ddraig’s deep, majestic voice rang out, laced with a rare uncertainty. The majesty was in his tone, but the awe in his voice revealed just how much reverence he held for Shoyo.
“When Issei wakes up, tell him everything he needs to know. I don’t have the patience to spoon-feed him. After his reincarnation, you should be able to manifest freely, right?”
“Yes, Unknown God.” Ddraig could already sense that Issei’s physical strength had reached the level of a Middle-class devil. His physique had changed significantly. Maybe… just maybe, he could beat the White One now~~.
“Just call me Shoyo.”
“Understood, Shoyo-sama.” Even though Shoyo didn’t seem to care about titles, Ddraig wouldn’t dare overstep. Dragons respected strength, and the stronger you were, the more they respected you.
“Good. I’m leaving Issei in your hands. Support him fully. His opponent this time is a descendant of a former Maou. A half-human, half-devil hybrid, top-tier talent among all White Dragons in history.”
“Yes! Shoyo-sama, I understand!” Upon hearing that the White One had such a strong host, Ddraig’s fighting spirit ignited. He didn’t want the White Dragon Emperor’s host to be a weakling. He wanted a true battle.
“Good. Then I’ll take my leave.”
With a single step, Shoyo vanished. True to his nature, he was a man who valued efficiency.
“The Unknown God… someone who surpasses even the Great Red and the Infinite Dragon God… I never imagined such a being existed in this world.”
Ddraig’s voice was filled with awe and reverence. When Shoyo left, there wasn’t even the slightest fluctuation in space, it was as if heaven and earth had been born beneath his feet.
“With a being like that appearing, the world’s balance will undoubtedly shift. The forces of this world will soon enter an era of upheaval. I look forward to what’s to come…”
Dragons were always synonymous with power. And power inevitably brought forth destiny. The Two Heavenly Dragons already stood at the apex, but this being had surpassed even the realm of Dragon Gods.
“This host… though lacking in talent… with the guidance of that great one… may reach heights no Red Dragon Emperor ever has!”
A realm beyond the Heavenly Dragons!
In the original story, Issei had indeed reached such heights, driven by his obsession with oppai and dreams. But now? It was unclear. This world seemed to only have a Breast God, not a **** God. Without the blessings of a **** God… could he still reach that realm?
Still, if conquering Vali required Issei to reach such heights, then he would reach it.
Because…
Shoyo wanted him to.
---
Shoyo, having accepted his first Peerage Member, returned home.
“Study, study... studying makes me happy.”
He resumed his studies. From childhood to now, Shoyo had always maintained a deep thirst for knowledge and an endless curiosity for the unknown.
And after awakening the power of the Ten Avatars, that thirst only grew stronger.
His dream?
Probably to read as many books as possible… and to marry the girl he liked.
Simple dreams, on the surface.
Except his version of "reading as many books as possible" meant all the books in the world.
And "marrying the girl he liked" meant being with any girl he liked, no matter what.
