Such lovely descriptive language that enables us readers to connect with, envisage and imagine the internal transformation experience taking place within Keelan around his/her newly developing female fertility to fulfill Maera’s sacred promise. The latter part of this episode sheds new light and intriguing possibilities and insights into this story. Lunovin’s subtle words that not only connect Keelan with his awareness of his sexual attraction to the male form, it also intimates that maybe these feelings have always have been present within Keenan and had subconsciously suppressed. Maybe then it was not Keelan sacrificing his manhood to fulfilling Maera’s destiny but moreover about his sister’s sacrifice to enable Keelan to acquire and embrace his/ her true nature? These are some of the speculations I am left with after yet another beautifully richly written episode.
