Poll Results Are In!

Hey everyone! I wanted to share the results from the 2025 content poll. Wow, over 550 votes! Thank you so much for taking the time to share your thoughts! 😊

The results were super interesting (and helpful)!

Comic miniseries took the top spot with 152 votes! I'm actually really excited about this because it's something I haven't created since Maid For Life. The idea of telling a complete story over just three months seems to have really resonated with you all.

Transition stories came in second with 131 votes, which doesn't surprise me since these have always been popular. I love creating these too, so we're definitely on the same page here.

The novella-length stories (like Anywhere but Boring) took third place with 90 votes. I'm really glad! These are fun because we can move the plot along more quickly while still getting some nice visuals.

I was pleasantly surprised to see the "What if...?" concept get 70 votes! Looks like quite a few of you are curious about alternative storylines for our existing characters.

The "Cozy" slice-of-life stories and standalone one-shots didn't get as many votes, but they still showed enough interest that I might sprinkle them in occasionally.

So what does this mean going forward? Well, once Half Sisters wraps up its 2nd season and Homecoming takes its slot, I'm planning to develop a comic miniseries for one of the "extra" content slots! I'm already brainstorming some concepts that I think you'll love.

I'll also be continuing with transition stories and novella-length stories, and I might experiment with an occasional "What if...?" piece when inspiration strikes.

Thank you again for your feedback! It really does shape what I create, and I'm so grateful to have such an engaged and supportive community.

As always, if you have thoughts or suggestions, feel free to drop them in the comments!

Aw, I really appreciate that, Terry! I can't wait to have you read some of the new stories. I'm very excited to branch out. 😊

Emory Ahlberg

Thank you, Diana. She looks something like a model in this one, I think!

Emory Ahlberg

Aw, thank you, both. I'm really excited for the plots and stories coming up this year!

Emory Ahlberg

Thank you, Singular. πŸ’• I have some new story ideas that I'm really excited about! I definitely want to keep expanding what's available in the sacred trans texts lol. πŸ«‚ on the good advice

And in this image - very sultry! 😊

Phase 9 is the penultimate "part" of the story. Phase 10 is the last, so we're getting close. It's bittersweet for sure!

Thank you, Bos!

Oh the poll, yea, thats going to create some interesting content. It is always a fun time to see what you come up with to add to "the literature" that is out there. Good luck and I look forwards to what comes next. For all my sisters out there, stay safe, be careful, know when to fold and run ahead of time, keep your heads down, and best of luck. It is never easy to run when you have to, but have an exit plan. I do.

Please don't make Nikki (Nikki's face) the Anti-Christ or anything like that, ladies, I beg you. She is a victim of Second Dawn too and my very own Summer Chastity Crowe likes her...though not as much as she likes Jill and Holly. I agree with Diana, Hutch and Davis are utterly loathsome.

Alex From the Tri-Cities

So beautiful, muse Emory, like all your art is.

Female-Bosmer-Always

Is jack and jill finishing this year?

Kendall Jenner

This kind of feedback from you is why I really enjoy your work and continue subscribing. Thanks for putting so much thought and care into your work, Emory.

Terry Rose

I second that emotion!

Diana O'Neil

I think Syd would go wild for a rowing comic

Helena Grace

You're the best at telling stories! Whatever you do will be spectacular!

Pelicanboss

Don't worry, Nikki's story will continue!

Emory Ahlberg

Absolutely beautiful and memorizing image of Nikki!

The film The Novice is a psychological film set in the world of women's rowing. Admittedly a bit dark, disturbing and obsessive, it is still an interesting look at and character study of the sport and the girls who row and what drives them. It is not a story I would re-tell, but for an artist looking to capture the feel and image of the sport it provides an interesting alternate view, from the preppy J. Crew or Rowing Blazers catalogs. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Novice_(film)

I know these replies may seem like spam to some but this last one especially captures the essence of how this story could look and feel. https://www.instagram.com/reel/C6ha9AtA4us/?igsh=MW1uZnJsejZmOTRtMw==

That all sound wonderful Emory! Can't wait to see what your creativity and talent offer us in the near future. Since novella and comic mini-series got the top slots I do think our previous discussion about a story line set around East Coast Ivy League College Rowing would be perfect for either format, though I would lean toward the novella. And the story could even be set in the Xu-niverse (or not, thought I still think there is a tie to Xu in "Anywhere But Boring"). I think your art work could do amazing things with images of co-eds in sweaters, tweeds and corduroy, on an Ivy League campus filled with a back drop of autumn trees in flaming reds, orange, yellows and soft brown hues. I can already taste the pumpkin spice latte. πŸ˜‰ I know it might seem like a copy of Nikki's story focusing on a college athlete, but I think this could be a very different take, not a kidnapping and forced transition taking the protagonist away from their dreams and goals, but more a Faustian deal with the Devil to get closer to them (though in a different body). The villain not so vial and repulsive as Davis or Hutchinson, but a extremely wealthy alumnus (or maybe even an alumna) who is attractive and engaging in their own way. Not some central casting bad guy or thug, rather Damian (or maybe Dana) Thorn (The Omen movies). But not too pretty or too smart, a little unassuming or even self effacing, so their evil really catches the reader off guard. But their confidence in their plan and how well they think they know the protagonist once revealed is very much like Hutchinson. Being set in New England, it would be easy to create a tie to the Mr. and Mrs. Ferris and through them Davis, Xu and Second Dawn. I think college sports offers a lot to explore, especially with the recent executive order. For that reason (while controversial) I think a full transition from the beginning would be necessary for someone trying to get around the ban and compete as a woman. Plus the psychological trauma, disassociation and body dismorphia of such a radical change done with little psychological preparation and the anxiety and consequences of being discovered would be fascinating. There is also (like Nikki) the whole male who never saw themselves as female having to learn quickly how to navigate and conduct themselves in a female world. There could also be a culture clash as a gifted male rower in high school or junior college from a working class family finds themselves a female coed on an Ivy League campus among the scion of the nation's wealthy, powerful and elite. Admittedly a little rift on "Oxford Blues" (Rob Lowe 1984). And while I don't think it should be a copy of Half Sisters, done as a novella those things that are similar may serve as a bit of a junky "fix" for those of us who are huge fans of that series while it is on hiatus between seasons two and three. Just my humble thoughts as you cast your net looking for new stories to tell in different formats.

Diana O'Neil

Can't wait to see what you create for the rest of the year. Everything is always top notch but I love being able to look at all the pieces and try and work everything out. The nikki art is gorgeous as always

Helena Grace

She is so , but very so gorgeous !
