I loved that old dub. Especially Molly's extreme Chicago accent and all the goofy voices the handful of voice actors had to do to play multiple roles. It fit them all pretty well.
2023-09-05 03:23:40 +0000 UTCWhat stands out to me isn't the more obvious stuff. I like the fact that you threw in the line 'Nega-creep' which is an obvious shoutout to the 90s dub. I admit that despite being a guy I'd always watch Sailor Moon after I got home from school because while it was kind of girly, I loved the monsters and bad guy. The OG dub gave the monsters some very witty lines and clever personalities. I didn't really like how the VIZ dub just made them more into mindless automatons. I like a bad guy with some snark, even if they're a Monster of the Day. This was a very nice throwback. I do like the diaper, but I don't really go for the whole preschool gig. Even so, it's good to see Mars diapered. She was my first anime crush. At least until I saw Sailor Uranus, even knowing she wouldn't go for men. Excellent job. Now to go digging for the old dub! And please, let's not get into a huge fight over the old and new dubs. I just like what I like! Haha. Great.
