The smallest member of Sarah friends, Stacy is a ball of energy masquerading as a teenage girl. She works in a small coffee shop when she isnβt attending Cherry Springs Academy and prefers to spend her leisure time in the mall or various shopping centers around town. Her parents are religious and church going, and her mother is docile and step ford-like, because of this as a child Stacy has linked these two things together and therefore rebels against the traditional role of women in the home and sees religion as stifling.
A fashionista through and through, Stacy rarely wears the same outfit twice and considers herself the best dressed of all her friends. Her parents will never allow her to wear such controversial attire on their dime, so Stacy saves up her barista money to buy her own clothes or uses other means to get what she wants. It still doesn't stop her parents from trying to get her to "dress like a lady".
Stacy wasn't always Sarah's friend. She was once besties with Katie, the head cheerleader at Cherry Springs Academy. Stacy's step ford-like upbringing and the good pedigree of her family, not to mention her sexual energy and sense of style and fashion made her a shoe in with the "popular girls."
However during one of Katie's plans to humiliate Sarah, Stacy had a change of heart betraying Katie and protecting Sarah. Her religious upbringing likely contributed to this behavior. Since then Stacy has become a friend to Sarah and her ilk. Stacy is not really one to pick a side, and does her own thing, remaining neutral to both Sarah and Katie. She has been demoted from the inner circle in Katie's clique but is still welcome to "sit with them" if she wants. However she refuses to be part of any scheme that will hurt another human being.
