Aurora Taylor

A mixture of a new age hippie and old style Indian yogi, Aurora is a kind, gentle soul. Peaceful and contemplative. She practices yoga as often as she can and works in her mother’s relaxation Spa: "The Healing Touch" when she isn’t attending classes at Cherry Springs Academy.

She was raised by a divorcee single mother Shivani and as a result has adopted nearly all of her mother’s tendencies, but with a gentler twist. Her father left the family when she was a very young age, so she has no real relationship with him, nor can she hope for one as her parents' separation was quite hostile and her mother has no intention of reconciliation. Any hope of a relationship with her father would have to come from her own volition, and she does not care to explore that avenue because of the stories she heard all her life from her mother.

Aurora therefore internally desires a strong masculine influence in her life, a male figure she can actually trust. Because of her mother's experience and beliefs, she has her doubts that such a man exists, but she hasn't given up hope entirely.

As the most soft spoken and sensitive of the group she will rarely cause a fuss, or vocalize what she's thinking, and often times opts to just "go with the flow" than to push back and create conflict, as a result of this, she can get taken advantage of fairly easily. She is definitely a confrontation averse person at her core and thankfully she surrounds herself with friends who always have her best interests at heart, and can stand up for her when she cannot herself.

Aside from yoga and meditation she will happily play games with her nerdy friend Sarah. Games and simulations are a perfect place for her to express herself in a more genuine way, and she will stand up for herself and her beliefs boldly and with little hesitation, she sees these games as fantasy make believe, and therefore safe. So she lets out all of the bottled up energy within her, in her play.

Her thoughtful nature makes her very empathetic to others, and in games makes her quite the strategist as she is able to predict what others will do while keeping calm and patient. In life her empathy makes her more of a friend you can talk to or vent to, and someone to confide in. Her empathy also allows her to know just what that person needs, whether its a warm hug, a walk in the park, or some retail therapy.
