Athletic, sporty, and fit, Gwen is a model athlete and Sarah’s best friend. She and Sarah are as close as two women can be and the two of them, despite dissimilar interests and conflicting schedules, have been friends since childhood. She attends Cherry Springs Academy with Sarah but almost none of the same classes and the two mostly interact outside of school.

Gwen’s interests lie almost exclusively outside of the house and at any given moment she could be playing tennis, jogging, working out, or any number of physical activities. Both her parents are physically minded, her mother Katelyn is a personal trainer and nutritionist, and her father is a chef/caterer specializing in honest healthy food. Gwen therefore owes nearly all of her attitudes to health and fitness to their upbringing.

Gwen cares about her friends and believes that health and fitness are of utmost importance not to mention one's ability to physically defend oneself, and therefore it is not uncommon for her to drag some of her weaker friends (usually Sarah) to the gym to train them. (mostly unsuccessfully)

Due to her strong physique and go get'em attitude, she doubles as Sarah's unofficial bodyguard and life coach, usually encouraging Sarah to push past her comfort zone and try new things, with more success than Veronica. As a bodyguard, she is always protecting her from some of the more unsavory girls at the Academy, and anyone who wants to get to Sarah, has to consider Gwen as the first line of defense.

As a result of this, she believes brute force can solve most if not all problems, and therefore has not become the most strategic thinker on the team, and this comes through when she plays games like DnD with Sarah and Aurora.

Tough talk aside Gwen has a soft romantic heart, and she looks for traditional values in her relationships, and often daydreams about finding the perfect guy, someone who can take care of her for a change.
