Feebas & Milotic are here!

First, I have to say, I really love how this screenshot came out, probably one of my more artsy ones, with a clear relationship between the two. Second, holy fuck it is difficult working with Mermaid tails. And yes, they both have mermaid tails. Finally a more animalistic feature in the sprites! Of course, these are in fact newer sprites, and the current team seems to be favoring more animalistic features.

Anyways, as mentioned before, I did eventually decide on using these newer sprites versus the older ones, because although the older Feebas was cuter, I think this one fit the theme much better, and in some ways, this current Feebas is just as cute. She has that, Tomboyish, unkempt look, which is kinda cute. It's homely, I guess.

Then there's the overly adorned Milotic which used up all 20 accessory slots. The only thing I think could have been improved here was her tail, but in working on it, it became increasingly difficult and just didn't look right. I'm not exactly an artist, here, so I'll have to come back to it one day.

These are both pretty hefty cards by the way - about 5mb each. I'm not actually sure why that is.

Fun fact! These cards almost didn't come out today because MY INTERNET WENT OUT AGAIN. Fortunately, it came back on (a few hours later) and I was able to upload them before midnight here.

We're actually going to be dropping Spectrum internet because this bullshit continues unabated. It's not exactly an easy switch, though, as there's some other technical things we need to get out of the way first, but today was step 1 in moving past them. AT&T is looking like a good choice. So hopefully these issues won't be a problem in a month or so..
