Castform Crew

Castform is here with 3 separate Weather Forms!

While originally this was going to be a single card release, I dug through the official discord and found the various forms for Castform and quickly decided it would be an injustice to not make all 4 versions, for completionist's sake, I guess?

The broader question though, was the way to actually make them. Since I always use hair accessories over the actual hair options (because of dimension issues), I already knew I could swap hair colors between outfits, so I began work doing just that.

Until I had to scrap it all.

Because you can't change skin color or eye color in between outfits, which is, obviously, understandable. But creating separate cards would do it better justice, since they could have smaller details, like different personalities, voices, and subtle changes to their face/body (not so much that they are too different - or even noticeable, really).

In the end, the four have some similarities in design, but all have mostly different outfits, color palettes, overlays, etc. Regular Castform has a Sciencey-Doctory-Nursey theme, Sunny has a Summer-time beach-goer theme, Rainy is sporty, and Snowy has the super cute Christmas outfit; sure it's default but when do I ever get to use it other than for Delibird?

And yes, I DID increase Castform's boob size as compared to her sprite. In fact, she's got some big ol' titties. Yeah, I usually go for sprite authenticity, but I mean, have you SEEN the original design?

What exactly do you think those are?

Hey everyone, hope you all enjoyed your labor day weekend. I took two days off for some relaxation, as I was feeling extremely burnt out on everything -- figuratively burnt out, and literally with the California heat wave we just went through.

Now the heat wave is gone and the air is all smokey/ashy. My pool is covered in ash - I'm actually about to go clean it now..

But anyways, on top of Castform taking a bit longer than usually (Hey, it's STILL technically a 4-card set!), but my mini-vacation cut in. Don't worry, though, the next set won't take a week to release - I've actually been working on it, and it's nearly done. Winona, of course, is our next set - along with Swablu + Altaria.

They've actually been a little tricky to do, since.. Well, their body is made of clouds.

Clouds don't exactly exist in KK. But I worked something up.

That said, months ago I planned to release Mega Altaria alongside Winona, but in the past few weeks I searched the Discord for Mega Altaria - which DOES exist -- but it honestly wasn't much better than regular Altaria. I'll show you on the next drop so you can see what I mean, but for now we'll have to wait for an actual update to Mega Altaria when the team gets around to it -- if they ever do. The thing is, the REAL Mega Altaria doesn't look much different than Altaria, so I'm not sure if the old sprite is inaccurate, or accurate.
