Tundra Twins
Added 2021-03-04 07:03:31 +0000 UTC(look I've been playing Skyrim again lately and the first thing that comes to mind when I think Grass and Ice is a "Tundra", hence the title, so leave me alone)
Leafeon & Glaceon are here!
These two were so fun to make, and they pretty much came out looking exactly right, barring a few slight differences.
Leafeon's main outfit has a bit of a bug with certain Maps in studio, which can't be fixed because she utilizes the IBL shader. I was very particular about using that outfit, solely because the cloth peeled off the breast area. Colorwise, everything matches up, with a tiny bit of added saturation. Her alternate outfits are awesome, though her swimsuit is literally just three leaves. You can imagine what that looks like.
Glaceon's color palette has been slightly changed. While her sprite uses some dark greens, I decided to use her more accurate Pokemon sprite palette and use a darker blue instead. Other than that, everything matches up basically perfectly. Don't be deceived by the screenshot, she doesn't have two "stripes" across her outfit - the lower "stripe" is actually a shadow from the ice rink she's in. Speaking of, she has ice skates, which I deliberately didn't make exactly accurate solely because the nodes don't match up well. If her toes were to bend, they actually clip through, because the only attachment point for feet are on the heels.
Still, it looks just fine. She has some super cute alternate outfits too. Sometimes I struggle to fill out all the outfit slots, but Glaceon is one of the few where I wish I had more slots. One of her outfits breaks the usual trend of sharing a color palette with the rest of her clothing. I believe it's Slot 6, and it's a Santa girl outfit, slightly modified. It looks slutty, but it's actually meant to be more of a ice skating outfit, rather than anything else.
