While these are technical reworks, since they have all new sprites, the amount of work went into them practical make these brand new. The older models will be Archived and perhaps, later, reworked as Regional variants.
There are a couple of highlights about this pair that I want to point out. First, the body type of Purugly is rather voluptuous compared to most other Moemon. I'm working on designing new body types rather than the standard, which includes pear shaped and other types for future 'mons. Purugly has some of the thicc'est thighs of any others.
As a note, there a very few face dimensions that work properly without seriously glitching out. This usually results in a "same-face" appearance for nearly all Moemon, but the unfortunate reality aside from tiny variations, several glitches appear when opening the mouth too wide, or with certain lighting, or with line work enabled. To minimize all of this, I've fine-tuned the dimensions of their face and stick with it.
Speaking of opening their mouths, I'm trying out a new set of fangs instead of the usual Shape-accessory fangs. Check them out.
Some other bonuses / deviations - Glameow sports a pair of glasses to complete her "Class President" vibe, while Purugly holds a makeup kit thing, but only in her secondary outfit slot. It was initially only for the screenshot because it has very limited uses, but I've included it in the Secondary slot just for the sake of it.
While outfit variation still remains a minimum, as usual, I intend to get a bit more creative with some alternate versions of these two later on. Yes, I like them that much, I need to splurge with them.
