Here's a quick filler before we continue our Legendary Titan set. Expect a few more quick ones like this here and there over the next month(s), just to fill in some space really.
Still, I saw this sprite and couldn't resist making her as quickly as possible. Chatot should have been "one of those" "filler" Pokemon that gets released every Gen and quickly forgotten about, but if you know your history, you know the controversy behind this Pokemon and it's signature move, Chatter, which resulted in Chatot being the only non-Legendary / non-Mythical Pokemon to be banned in Gen 5's Global Battle Union, as well as having the move being changed in Gen 6+.
If you don't know, Chatter is exclusive to Chatot, which, in battle, has a chance to cause Confusion, but only if you record audio for it first. Outside of battle, Chatter can be used as a field-move and, using the DS's built in mic, allows you to record audio for it's move.
Obviously, giving people the ability to record themselves saying whatever they want is a recipe for disaster and not a good idea to allow into the Battle Union. This, of course, has led to some giving Chatot the nickname, "Gamer Bird" as she sometimes uses certain.. Gamer words.
