Swamp Dragons

Yes, they're Dragons.
Once more, I wish I documented the work behind these ones, because it was one long struggle session filled with dead ends and lots of trial and error to get something that truly captures the essence of these 'mons.
Some of the shortcomings include dead ends with the hair for Goodra, which had a pretty straightforward plan when I was building her, until I realized the mesh for her hair was not going to work at all. Unlike other hair accessories with meshes that can be tweaked using simple alphamasks to change certain parts of the hair that is unwanted, the original twintails chosen for Goodra had a mesh that was essentially a giant square, which meant any attempts to edit parts out wouldn't work as the actual mesh was likely imported from a separate file and not meant for actual editing.
But in the end, it worked out, because I much more prefer the majin hair accessories that she currently uses. I even thought about adding hair texture to match the sprite, but the smoothness of the piece felt more appropriate when you consider the lore behind these Dragons.
Some fun stuff to be aware of:
- All of their green bits glow
- Sliggo has alternate hair for her costumes. Turn Sub accessories off for her original look, or keep Sub accessories on and manually turn off the last accessory hair piece for shorter hair (making her eyes visible).
- Sliggoo's shoulder pads are attached to her Top
- Goodra's collar and chest orb thing are attached to her Bra for most slots, or can be turned off with Subs for all slots.
Note: An issue with Sliggo's coloration was identified while putting together the screenshot above and an attempt at fixing it was quickly added, but I'm unsure if it's totally solved. If the hair and swirly bits/shell are not the same color when adjusting different lighting levels or filters, let me know.
