I really convinced myself that doing entire 3-set families of dragons one after the other wouldn't take that much time, as if I haven't been doing this for a couple of years and should know better.
And there's no stopping yet, because nearly every psuedo-legendary dragon families in each Gen are all 3-sets and complex, and the next set even more so, but we'll talk about that later.
For the Axew family, the only real complex part actually were their, well, Axes. For Axew, a more primitive design was chosen, while the later two have more sophisticated axes. Some very slight liberties were taken with the outfit and accessory design, but nothing too major. The biggest is Haxorus' Axe head pieces.
The sprites have them more crescent shaped, which itself is actually quite easy using the simple Crescent shaped accessories, but I deliberately chose to invert them to match the actual Pokemon's design. Haxorus, of course, has an axe for a head, and in this case it just looked better.
Anyways, enjoy!
I promise the next set won't take as long, because it's actually this month's Lege- er, Ultra Beast!
