Birbs. Lightning Birbs.
There really isn't much technical information to say here. This is just another straightforward 2-set release, although I do want to mention how much a pain in the butt it was deciding on the final eyes. Although they don't match the sprites, the actual Pokemon is one of the very few Pokemon that has colored eyes - in this case, green.
Sprites like this don't typically match that because, as mentioned before, these sprites are limited to a certain amount of colors, 16 I believe. Much of that is used up for shading, so it leaves very little room for color variety, which a lot of newer Gen Pokemon have as they aren't limited to the old GBA restrictions.
Oh, and lastly, you've probably noticed some of the recent releases have been on beaches. That's not a coincidence. It's really getting hot lately, isn't it?
Might be time to go swimming!
