Although the sprites aren't new, and therefore the overall design isn't new, this wasn't a simple update, and because of that it took a lot longer than it should have. While Pignite and Emboar have (mostly) the same outfit, Tepig has an entirely new fit that more appropriately matches her sprite.
They all received massive updates to their models and faces, with particular tweaks to their eyebrows to match their sprite designs, new hair, and the addition of actual animal ears in place of headbands. Also, new tails for both Tepig and Pignite.
The remaining question is their weapons - which still, cannot be done in KK creator, but could be in a scene. I could easily make them, but would anyone actually want them? They wouldn't be adjustable, since objects don't have node attachments, so they would be stuck in position, but if that's something you'd like to see, let me know.
Either way, the other Gen 5 starters will also be lots of work, since Snivy's line is desperate for an update, while Oshawott's line is actually just straight broken, but there are going to be a release or two in between them for time's sake.
