Kalos Variants?!

Time for an unscheduled surprise - Kalos Jigglypuff and Kalos Wigglytuff!

What the hell are these, you may ask? Our very first original Moemon, of course!

Like Alolan and the upcoming Galarian variants, it's canon that different forms of the same Pokemon may exist in different regions, they just haven't been officially documented yet.

So why not just make our own? These two share the base model of Jigglypuff/Wigglytuff released last week, but a bit spicier. While the standard forms are Fairy type, I like to imagine these two as either Dark/Fairy or Poison/Fairy dual-types. Actually, fun fact, but the very first official Poison/Fairy type is the new Galarian Weezing, so there is some precedence. Dark/Fairy would be overpowered as hell though.. so maybe we should go with that.

Why Kalos region? While I've never actually played B2/W2 or been to Kalos myself, I do know that Kalos has a huge city known as Lumiose City, a huge, bustling Metropolis that should be home to a big enough concert hall.

Unlike regular Jigglypuff and Wigglytuff, who mimic the K-Pop Idol stars, the Kalos variants are more emo, so Dark/Fairy is probably the better choice, now that I think about it.

Either way, these two are mostly just experimental/fun side project, but they are available to everyone today alongside the public release of Jigglypuff/Wigglytuff!
