Update #6 - Commissions

Sorry for the late post, I ran into some technical difficulties and other setbacks, but we're ready to roll out today's update!

First up, Mega Blastoise has been released, if you haven't grabbed her yet, pick her up at the post below this one. As I mention in that post, Mega Venusaur is next week, as well as the poll for next month's Megas.

Next up, Commissions!

As some have asked/suggested, I have decided to start off with commissions for those who may wish to see their personal favorite Moemon sooner rather than later. This is a bit complicated, for a few reasons, mainly because I base my creations of existing Moemon sprites, and at the moment the only "official" ones go up to generation 5-6.

That said, with some restrictions, I'm now opening up commissions for those interested in investing in this project more. The basic cost varies depending on the Moemon, with an extra $10 charge if you want exclusivity to them until they are released normally, if not, they will be released publicly when made available to you.

The one stipulation I have, is that commissions must be requested by family - this is to avoid "breaking" my schedule. So, for example, you cannot simply request Blaziken, you will have to request the Torchic family, which includes all 3 - Torchic, Combusken, and Blaziken.

The reason I have to do this, is to avoid a situation where someone requests ONLY Blaziken and not the other two. Because then when I get to the Torchic family normal release schedule, the release is devalued because it would simply be Torchic/Combusken, and that's no fun!

Now, for the pricing. Because I want them released as "bundles" rather than individuals, it depends on how many are in the family. Below will be the prices listed, and below that will be an example sheet:

• $10 for a Moemon (that doesn't have evolutions - not including Mega Evolutions)
• $15 for a Moemon family with 1-2 Evolutions (inc. "baby" forms)
• $20 for a Moemon family with 3-5 Evolutions (inc. "baby" forms)
• $5 for Shiny versions of the set.
• $10 for Timed Exclusivity (only you receive until normal schedule release, see below)

So, here's some examples of how this works:

• Requesting Sableye is $10, as Sableye has no normal evolutions. It's Mega Evolution is reserved for polls.
• Requesting Houndour family is $15, as Houndour has 1 Evolution, Houndoom. It's Mega Evolution is reserved for polls. You receive both.
• Requesting Mudkip family is $15, as Mudkip has 2 Evolutions, Marshtomp and Swampert. It's Mega is also reserved for polls. You receive all 3.
• Requesting Wurmple is $20, as Wurmple has 4 possible Evolutions (Silcoon/Cascoon, Beautifly/Dustox). You receive all 5.
• Requesting Tyrogue is $20, as Tyrogue has 3 possible evolutions (Hitmonchan, Hitmonlee, Hitmontop), and is, itself, a baby moemon. You receive all 4.
• Requesting Jynx is $15, as Jynx has a pre-evolution of Smoochum.

The only additional/optional charge is if you request timed exclusivity. That is, let's say you commissioned Absol. Absol has no evolutions (her Mega is reserved for polls), so she would be $10. If you then requested exclusivity, it will be $20, as only you would have access to her until her normal public release schedule would come up. As she is #359, and we are about to release our #50-51 Moemon, Diglett/Dugtrio, that is quite a long time, potentially months. Also, as mentioned, it's an additional $5 for the Shiny versions, but that pays for the whole set.

Also, as a freebie, I'll also supply you with the card fronts of the cards, that way you can use in case you wish to take a new card screenshot with a new pose, or if you make your own personal adjustments.

There's also some restrictions to these commissions:

• Only Pokemon from Generation 1 - 4 may be requested at this time.
• Legendaries cannot be requested.
• Mega Evolutions cannot be requested, these are reserved for polls.
• Regional variations cannot be requested.
• Eevee family cannot be requested, as that is a total of 9 Moemon across multiple generations (of which, 2 do not have finalized Moemon Sprites). 
• The Unknown family cannot be requested. That's like, 30 Moemon. Not doing that, at least not any time soon, lmao.
• Rotom and it's 5 multiple forms cannot be requested.

That should be it, unless I think of more restrictions!

Lastly, if you decide to commission, you will be able to review them and give feedback on anything that you feel isn't up-to-par, and if I apply any updates to them after you receive them, you will get an updated version as well.

Any commission payments are final, though I am more than happy to accept feedback, criticism, or suggestions to ensure the cards are satisfactory!

One final note, is simply my philosophy on commissions to begin with. This isn't something I necessarily want to encourage or discourage using, I simply am fine with the current release plan, but multiple individuals have expressed interest in future Moemon that may be months in the making, so I created this option for those interested. If you're satisfied with current release schedule, than that's fine with me too. I don't want to be greedy or take advantage of anyone, I just want to express some creativity with a franchise I love, and that's the most satisfying part about this project.
