I don't even want to begin telling you all how difficult it was getting these sprites. But for what it's worth, understand that the official Moemon FireRed rom has MALE sprites for these, seen here:
Why only Male? Well, fun fact, if you didn't know, but yes, Hitmonchan, Hitmonlee, Hitmontop, and their pre-evolution Tyrogue are all Male Only. Not many people know this, because in Gen 1, where you are literally GIVEN one for free, genders didn't exist. When they came in Gen 2, you weren't given one for free. Instead, the only chance you had of getting one was go completely out of your way on a specific day to a very difficult cave to find the Karate King (aka, Kiyo / Koichi) who will give you a Tyrogue. And even then, you may not even be aware it couldn't be female.
Nevertheless, fuck that. This is Moemon. They girls now.
So how did I get the above sprites? Well, they belong to another artist, but they don't have them readily available, so I literally had to rip them out from the HGSS rom.
All of this JUST to make card fronts, lmao. Well, I'll also have them put aside for use later, perhaps alter the Moemon FireRed hack with these sprites instead.. but that's much later.
Anyways, I spent a lot of time on these two cuties, and most of the work was done today, actually. Hence the late post. They both have full outfit sets, and complimentary personalities, I suppose.
