Update #20 - Gen 2 Begins!

Today, with the release of Professor Elm, Gen 2 (officially) begins!

...sort of!

I'll actually be taking a small vacation for the Thanksgiving weekend - since I seriously need a break from everything (not just this!). That doesn't mean not to expect any new posts - I'll be looking to update more card fronts/backs this weekend, as well as putting out the Gen 1 starter updates mentioned last week out, and hopefully that'll all be done this weekend.

That said, the real fun begins this Sunday - when I'll be launching the first Gen 2 Legendary and some other goodies (shh, it's a secret!). So please stay tuned for that!

Things will be a bit different this Gen, mainly because it's relatively short - I plan to push out a Gym Leader once a week. With them will be a Moemon pairing that is suitable/iconic for them. In addition, I'm debating on whether or not to switch things up and do 3 large drops per week, instead of 1 large drop and 2-4 smaller ones. The basic idea is basically having multiple releases on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. This gives me some more consistent schedule to release better quality stuff - so we'll see how that plays out.

As mentioned, Gen 2 is relatively short - only 100 Pokemon added, and I've already released a few like Crobat and Bellossom (in hindsight I probably shouldn't have, lmao), but all that means is Gen 2, as it currently stands, should only take about 2 months! I'll probably regret saying that but I think we can finish by the end of January, or a little into February.

I don't want to rush things because I want to do a little bit more quality care with them, as Gen 2 is my personal favorite, and has a lot of fan favorite Pokemon/Moemon.

With all that said, the starters are going to be handled a bit differently, which I'll go over in a new Poll coming up in a little bit - so I'll catch you there! That's all for now!
