Hello everyone, happy Wednesday!
We've now officially begun Season 3 - Hoenn! I wanted to push an additional update out a few weeks ago to officially start Season 3 with Update #30, but oh well - I don't actually suspect we'll be in Season 4 by Update #40, anyways. Mainly because I want to return to more, weekly updates, as well as Season 3 being a bit open-ended on when I project that we would technically finish. This gives me some time to rework some additional Gen 1 Moemon and finish releasing some unfinished Gen 2 Moemon.
While there's still a handful of Gen 2 Moemon we discussed a few updates ago that need to be released, I can't precisely say when they would come out, but the next ones on the target list are Marill/Azumarill and Wobbufet. With Marill/Azumarill, I have a special original trainer I want to release, and that's nearly done - with Wobbufet, I planned to update Team Rocket alongside that release, which I was mainly waiting for Evaan to release his new Jessie so I can use the hair mod in that pack - what I didn't realize was that he already released it - in October no less! I found it by accident, and while I don't have the time right this moment to update Team Rocket, it's planned for sooner rather than later.
Having said all of that...
Well, the Poll ended several days ago and it turned into a tie between Ruby/Torchic and Sapphire/Mudkip, with Emerald/Treecko only slightly behind it. Truth be told, I actually had placed MY vote for Ruby, so discounting my own vote, Sapphire wins - and we'll use that logic to break the tie!
So, I'm pleased to announce that Sapphire's pack will be out this Friday - Mudkip, Marshtomp, Swampert and May (aka Sapphire)!

Unfortunately, I have decided to postpone Mega Swampert, at least for a short while, for a few reasons when I originally started this project, the idea was simple, create works based on the Moemon sprites. While not all have official sprites yet, the Moemon art team are currently working on Mega versions of Swampert and Sceptile (Blaziken is done, but may see a rework) - so I feel there's no need to make a custom one when I can use their sprites as a base. Typically, I try to only create originals with Moemon that don't already have Mega versions, officially at least - like Butterfree, Arbok, etc.
I plan to release all three at a later date. Besides, May is a new trainer - it wouldn't be fair for her to have a Mega Swampert on her first day as a trainer! She needs badges first!
Having said all that...
As said above, Mudkip, Marshtomp, Swampert, and May will be here Friday, but beyond that, let's take a peak at some of the stuff I'm working on right now:
With the above, Mudkip and Marshtomp are both done, while I'll be finishing Swampert and May tonight - May is actually mostly done, with her slightly preview-able in the above screenshot.
Alongside that, you can see I have already begun work on Prof. Birch - I've actually spent some time reworking Prof. Oak as well, and in the future, I hope to release the Oak family once more, with a totally reworked Prof. Oak, an updated Blue, and Daisy Oak - because she's an absolute CUTIE in the comics:

And if you didn't know, she actually has her own Sprite as seen in the fame checker from FRLG -

Although, I kinda feel she deserves red hair. Something about the comic panel screams redhead.
Anyways, some other things I'm working on at the moment:

Zigzagoon & Linoone will be our next Wild Moemon, and while I haven't yet begun working on them, I've already conjured up an idea for Zigzagzoon, but Linoone may be a bit more problematic - "onesies" don't exactly exist in KK, so we'll figure something out there. But her hair.. I have ideas for her hair, I just hope it looks as good as I think it will!
While I may get Zigzagoon/Linoone out Sunday, Tuesday will be another set of Wild Moemon, but a rather large drop...

Wurmple, of course, is coming up! This will be a pretty big drop, since she has two evolutionary paths, and I wouldn't want to pick and choose a favorite path, nor would I want to divide them up, so here's whose coming with her:

Silcoon & Cascoon should be easy, as they are practically opposites of each other (like day and night), but there are some minor differences so there will have to be separate accessory designs for their hair, rather than just a simple color switch.
Finally, of course, there are Beautifly and Dustox:

These ones may prove challenging, as it will require custom overlays that I'll have to design myself, so I hope they come out fine. We'll wait and see, I suppose.
Having said all that, I do also have my eyes set on the horizon for our first Legendary, so for that, we'll be conducting a poll tonight and you all can decide which one you'd like to see first - at least between Groudon, Kyogre, & Rayquaza!
For now, I think that's about everything. I gotta get to work now on the Sapphire pack - so see you Friday for that release!
