WIP - Field of Hopes and Dreams (Deltarune)
Added 2019-02-16 04:33:58 +0000 UTCA bit of update for you all. This track is absolutely killing me. I've spent more time on this than all the other Deltarune tracks combined! The original track has this really nice bouncy beat to it, that doesn't traditionally go with an orchestra, and I and just copying the drumbeat and mixing it with an orchestra can sound very muddy. I tried a lot of different instrumentation and after who knows how long, I think this is what I'll settle with.
I also spent some time learning and practicing mixing drums. A common complaint for my previous pieces with percussion is it isn't punchy enough, which I admit I kept putting off trying to improve. But for this track, the percussion is too important to ignore. Hope I can finish this sometime next week, and thank you everyone for your support!
