This is like prior productions in a lot of ways. It’s dreamlike. It’s orgiastic. Fantasies of control shift so rapidly that the listener is washed away. It’s governed by dream logic.
It’s new in some ways. There’s a mythos in a lot of these arcs. The audience catches bits and pieces of how the Neural Control universe fits together throughout the NNPP run. It is becoming a lot more deliberately constructed, though. There really is an underlying structure, but it’s never laid out in expo. You now know that it’s storyboarded.
There’s also a tendency to a clearer storyline. It’s still hallucinatory, but it’s clearer. It might become even clearer in subsequent episodes. That’s also by design. This series specifically is designed to migrate to the Deep Dream State podcast, which will be launching this month.
Each episode explores a different character. There are four: Vampi, Violet, Vikki, and Velvet. Each one has a tendency that drives her to Lilly and the Pando. I think you can guess what hers is!
Much credit to the VA, naciemew. Her role her is dynamic. She shifts from vapid socialite to dom to doll in the space of 30 minutes. The unifying thread is that all of her takes are hot hot hot.
