The lore and nature of the vampires emerges gradually, in the context of individual blood dolls. Each episode is a character study, scene, and mindtwist in its own right. Each doll’s compelled to serve her controllers because of an identifiable – and often relatable – character trait.
Vampi, the first episode, embodies attention craving. This doll Velvet embodies neurotic repetition.

Characters:
Velvet. She’s neurotic and obsessed with the past. We open in her therapy session.
Lilly. Velvet’s psychiatrist. She is very stereotypically therapist. She changes radically in the last scene.
Ash. Velvet’s former dominant. He is cruel and vampiric.
