Today marks the 1 year anniversary of me sharing Girlfriend Tapes with the public. I was pretty conscious about the quality of my work and I still am but nonetheless getting the first handful of patrons meant that there was interest in my game and that felt really great. I appreciate every comment here or on Discord, every bit of criticism and feedback, every pledge and all the support I've received.

Now, about the final version of GF Tapes. I had to take care of some other stuff (which I'm still going to need time for) so the storyboard and the sketches are not fully done yet. The 10 days remaining in this month would be enough for good progress but yesterday I got some kind of infection in my right eye. Probably has to do with the constant stress from looking at screens all day. It's bloodshot, very sensitive to light, almost constantly tearing up and just overall makes me feel miserable. Feels like freaking Tobey Maguire put some dirt in my eye.
Anyway, if it persists and I can't get to finish at least half the lineart I might pause this month's billing cycle.
The update will have a scene gallery where you'll be able to replay full H-scenes, as well as a revamped CG gallery with short titles describing the unlockable image. Just a little QoL changes that go a long way so you won't have to save every time if you want to see a scene later.
I might also do the soundtrack after all. Even though I dislike it, it just feels stupid to have it for the majority of the game and then don't. I'll give it some thought.
Finally, the poll to decide my next project will be up tomorrow.

I'm glad to be able to help you keep making great stuff. And I'll keep doing so well even after your number of patrons goes through the roof. Also, hopefully your eye gets better soon friendo, it sounds awful.

You've got bills to pay too, and I don't want you making yourself sick or having financial problems for the sake of my entertainment. Take a few days off, listen to audiobooks and stuff like that which will let you rest your eyes. RE: the soundtrack, I've seen a lot of people in forums missing it. I do prefer to have some sound myself too.
