(Important) Apple IOS App charging 30% on all Patreon App store Subscriptions

Not the usual sexy fun update from me today but I thought this was important to share with everyone and bring attention to.
The article in the link above will go into greater detail but here are the footnotes for you:
Apple is forcing Patreon to pay 30% of all subscriptions to them starting this Nov for ANY new subscription made on the Apple app store, so if you're using the Patreon app through the apple store 30% of your subscriptions goes to them rather than Patreon and myself/other creators.
Understandably Patreon and creators like myself are rather upset about it and one of the options we've been given by Patreon is to raise our prices automatically for the Patreon app on apple to off set the expense to creators.
Personally I would much rather not have to arbitrarily charge anyone different or higher prices to pay off apple and for the time being I'm holding off on said change to see what will happen and how big of an impact it has.
That being said: If you wish to ensure that I am receiving the fullest amount of your subscriptions for my work, this fee they are taking does not apply to any of you going through the Android App OR if you access Patreon on web browser, it may be possible to simply run payment through the web browser version while still using the apple app, but I'm not total sure on that.
The point being I simply wanted to make this issue known to you all, as I said I will be keeping an eye on it for the time being, but if you'd like to make sure you are directly supporting me and any other creators who may have not increased their apple app prices there are ways around it and I'm sure we'd all appreciate it.
