Pages 21-22

Alright, this months update is a couple days later than I wanted, we ended up revising the dialogue a few more times, thank you Samhat for suggesting certain alterations. If you guys think something feels a little off or hard to understand, please, let me know.

Not telling we what's wrong means I'm more likely to repeat mistakes, and I'd rather nip them in the bud with some necessary criticism rather than make high quality art and then have terrible writing to go with it.

At the moment I'm re-learning how to use blender, how to design scenery, and will be trying to use it to design my scenes in future rather than re-drawing these backgrounds every time and taking away time I could have spent on the characters. You'll see why later, but I need as much time as possible to draw characters, and once we reach that point I'll either have a whole town modeled in 3d, or a sudden dip in quality so there's enough time to fit it all in.

Future plans! There's a lot I need to learn, so lets go through my wishlist. First up, I need to learn how to program a game. Nothing complex, at minimum I need to learn how to use a program like RenPy. Second, I need to learn 3d modeling again. That one I'm doing right now. Third, I need to get better at writing, and I'm planning to pay for some master courses once I've gotten through the 3d tutorials. Fourth, I need to learn how to make music. Consistently I've made an attempt to make a song, decide on a style I like, and just as I think I have everything ready... I can't find the right synthetic instrument online, or I can but it's $200+ for the software. For someone who has zero skill with music I can't justify that. Of all the things on the wishlist, that's the one which I feel could be better spent paying someone to make some songs rather than hoping I can learn how to make decent music.

But first, writing. It's honestly my weak point right now, and it won't be for too much longer. You gotta approach these sorts of things with certainty, even when you aren't that certain. Gotta let your vision fill you up and push you forward. Might be taking a porn comic too seriously, but it'll make sense later on. Probably. Gotta climb onto the shoulders of giants before you can stand there, and these giants are a lot taller than you'd think just looking at them.
