Tarot/Playing/Game card design, WIP
Added 2019-11-13 03:44:25 +0000 UTCWorking on an idea for a card game, wanted to get something down on paper to work out the idea some more. This doesn't look so bad but if I were to get this printed I'd need to do some trial runs to see if they're too dark or whatever. I'd also need to research to see if there's a way to print actual gold foil, and how that looks as a real card compared to this fake gold.
I was asked if I could make more patreon-only art stuff, and I think this counts since it's the final versions with artwork that I'd want to post on FA. I'll try to post the rest of my WIP projects in future as I work on them too.
This project is a bit odd, there's a lot of parts in it that are things I'm not that into. I'm not really that knowledgeable about tarot cards or card games, I have a hard time wrapping my head around card game rules too, there's a lot of weird names for specific abilities meant to limit what cards can do, especially with older games, so it's a really intense learning experience. That said, I haven't really put any of that to use yet, just wanted to get the art done before getting all the rules sorted out.
