I love watching reactors try to apply logic to Hollywood Time Travel. Once they've established there is only one timeline and ignore the paradoxes, you just have to turn off your brain, eat some popcorn and keep watching.

There isn't much of anything in this that I don't like. xD I'm biased as hell for this one and I won't deny that! xD I think this was released in 1983? Not positive. I was born in 1988, though - so I'm a wee bit after you. lmao, he's fucking STACKED in this movie! I forget what he'd won at this point, but he's definitely won some big accolades. lol, only these two. He's Michael Beign, yeah. Huh, good job at picking up on that context! It takes many a few minutes to realize that. :) lol, if he's running away from cops -yeah, fair bet that he's human. No machine would be fearful of cops. PRODUCT PLACEMENT - EXCELLENT xD Linda Hamilton was so beautiful as an 80's film actress in this! lmao, you may not dig the hair but she's attractive in my book! :P lmao, love your shocked/surprised face with the gun store clerk's death. *pure shock* Arnold was fucking stacked in this movie. lol - you've got this one mixed up with the sequel. I'll be watching that reaction after this wraps up. :) lmao, yeah. Transformers were likely part of the design inspiration for the large scale machines. DEFINITELY NOT THE CHILDREN'S SHOW, VERSION! xD Yeah, man! The Jetsons were way cool for their time! hahahaha, love his confidence. Well you saw in the phone book, there were only three, I think? Whole lot less terrifying and quite a bit more fun than this. I'm confused on how Arnold could be a good guy after he blew the gun shop clerk to death earlier. xD lol, that must've somehow slipped your mind. Pretty much. :) It'll all be explained here soon. Michael's acting in this scene is pretty clutch. I feel that he did an excellent job with this role. Not a robot, a cyborg. That was a different cop. His acting here was great as well. The hope is keeping her alive by whatever means are necessary. LMAO THE EYEBROWS!! xD Yeah, those got removed for a bit. Correct, good job on figuring that out. That laugh was unexpected! hahahaha, wow. Missed what you said there during the car chase scene, something about being freaked out. That's one of the only reasons why I'm kinda like wtf with this movie. :P He could've killed all those cops there, easily. hahahaha, you just have Terminator 2 stuck in your head even though you've never watched it before. lol - yup! This bit's proper gross. This scene creeped me out when I was a kid. hahahaha, this scene GROSSED ME OUT when I was a youngster! lol, always thought it was super cool though. lmao, when you're a kid you don't notice how cheese it all looked. "Kids these days don't know what it was like BACK IN MY DAY!" xD THE LINE! xD That was the first time, yup! They're ALL going to die, yeah. The Terminator doesn't fuck around. Vests only help so much. They're not really built to resist gunfire from assault rifles and shotguns at close range like that. YUP! Loads of dead cops. Reese isn't a common first name. I'm honestly surprised you haven't figured that out yet! HKs were hunter killers, yeah. This is his first BIG and successful movie, yeah. He did a few other movies before this but I'm having trouble remembering what they are. Different model #, yeah. Arnold's version was model 101. Worst that it'll do is draw attention. But yeah, the pistol's useless in any type of dense against the terminator. lol, you called it! Good job. What's wrong with a loop? xD Loops make sense, at least. :P lmao, when you've got babymaking on the mind, you don't worry about bad breath. :P She hasn't met/seen her unborn baby - so how would she? You'll see here soon. :P The terminator's end in this movie's pretty cool, I feel. I always liked it, at least! lmao, you try throwing lit explosives from a moving truck! My money's on it not being that easy. hahaha lol, yup! He's gonna look messed up! hahahaha, love how you nodded your head after he threw the bomb into the exhaust pipe. "AHA! I did it!" was what I pictured you thinking. :) Yup, one explosive remaining. Cover, so he can't track them. All that noise from the machines will block them out. This scene was SCARY COOL for it's time! You called it! He's going to be crushed here soon. :) Yup! He did it. Except, yup, he's got to die. LOVED YOUR FACE WHEN THE TERMINATOR FULLY MOVED! xD lol, not surprised that you missed it's tiny bit of movement before it fully moved/reactivated or whatever. It's all good. :) I'm gonna jump into the second, now! :) I trust that you'll enjoy that one more but it's all good! You didn't grow up with this, like me.

The Terminator films do not use this theory. Nor do they use the same time travel theory as Back to the Future. The theory that works for The Terminator is Predestination Paradox, or Causal Loop. This basically means, what happened always happened and must happen. Kyle Reese was always John Connor’s father, and John knew this when he met Kyle in the future. Kyle tells Sarah, “John Connor gave me a picture of you once. I didn’t know why at the time.” John gave Kyle the picture, not just because he was planning on sending him back in time to save his mother… but, also because he knew Kyle was his father and that he had to (was supposed to) send Kyle back in time. It was Kyle’s Destiny. The Big Questions that are trying to be answered is… Can Changing the Past change the Future, or is there only One Pre-Destined course of events? Can you change your Fate… or do the actions you take to change it, ultimately bring you to the same conclusion?

Because so many people have so many different theories of the way travel works. If you go back and look at the 3 punks at the very beginning. I think you'll recognize Bill Paxton if you look for him.

2024-07-17 06:18:00 +0000 UTCAlso there’s Terminator 2, Terminator 3, Terminator Salvation which is a prequel with Christian Bale and then there’s Terminator Genisys which is a reboot of the whole thing that is definitely the worst one And then there’s Terminator Dark Fate which replaces Terminator 3 as the direct sequel. and there’s a TV show that actually has the same writer of Genisys and covers some of the same ideas but better and also worse cuz the budget is terrible.
