I’ve never seen this trilogy. I’ll start on the first one this afternoon, assuming Matthew is involved 😂😂 Also, check out Dolores Claiborne, for Patreon. It’s Stephen King’s favorite adaptation from his book of the same name. He wrote the book with Kathy Bates in mind after seeing her in the film Misery. This is arguably her best performance and it’s also her favorite role she’s ever played. Danny Elfman does the score and it’s a masterclass in story telling through time. It’s also the only Stephen King film and book that don’t involve any supernatural elements. The Shawshank Redemption doesn’t count because it’s technically a Novella.
